Be careful not to drive the cap being used to apply pressure into the other aspect of the yoke. Separate the yoke from the U- joint tool and the cap that has been pressed through.

Next, you may have to use a socket for centering the cross while the pressed cap is being pushed back from the other aspect of the yoke. And reinstall the u joint tool and twist the bolts until the left over cap is usually pushed to the other aspect of the yoke.

Thirdly, you just have to install brand-new caps and stick to the process which is exactly the opposite of removal. Twist the screw until the cap is usually pushed good enough to go past the holding clip furrow. At last, you have to repeat this process for each cap until all the caps and cross are aligned with the yoke. In addition, you should check to make certain that cars do not make clunking noises when changing gear or vibrate with the rate of the transmission output.
